Overview
Clients can trade their loyalty points for a redeemable service instead of paying for it. This only works for services you've set up to be redeemable with points; see making services redeemable if you haven't done this yet.
Redeeming a service with points
Add the client and the service to a sale in POS as usual. If they have enough points to redeem it, a pink heart shows next to the service line.
- Tap the pink heart next to the service.
- Confirm with YES when asked to redeem it with loyalty points.
The points come off the client's balance straight away and the item's price on the sale drops to $0.00. Continue with Receive Payment as normal for anything else in the sale.
Note: the redeemed service still shows up in the client's Bookings tab at its normal price, for your records. This is just a record of the service given, not a charge; the points were already taken instead of a payment.
