Auto Loyalty Points: Applying Points to All Services, Products, Vouchers and Packages in One Go

Simple Salon lets you automatically apply loyalty points to all services, products, vouchers and packages in one go.

  1. Click the profile icon at the bottom left of the left main menu and choose Settings.
  2. Scroll to the Loyalty Points section.
  3. Find the Auto Loyalty Points settings for each item: Services, Products, Packages, Gift Vouchers and Memberships.
  4. Enter a percentage for each item you want to earn points.
  5. Click Save at the top right.

The percentage you enter is the percentage of the price that becomes loyalty points.

For example, if you set Auto Loyalty Points to 5, then 5% of the price of the client's total sale will become points.

Each item has its own setting, so you can set Auto Loyalty Points differently for services, products, gift vouchers and packages. For example, you can put points on all of your services and products, but not on vouchers or packages.

Here are some examples. You can set up your points-to-dollar ratio however you like.

Let's say that you would like to award your clients:

  • 1 point for every $10 spent on Products
  • 1 point for every $1 spent on Services

To give clients 1 point for every $10 they spend on products, enter 10 in Auto Loyalty Points - Products. This means 10% of the product price becomes points. A $10 product earns 1 point and a $20 product earns 2 points.

To give clients 1 point for every $1 they spend on services, enter 100 in Auto Loyalty Points - Services. This means 100% of the service price becomes points. A $10 service earns 10 points.

Fill out each setting to match how you want your loyalty points to work, and on which items you want clients to earn points. Remember to Save once complete!

NOTE: If you have Auto Loyalty Points set up, then you DON'T need to apply points to individual services, products, vouchers and packages. Those steps are in Applying Loyalty Points to Individual Services, Products, Vouchers and Packages.
