Getting to the Lists Tab
Click Admin in the top menu, then click the Lists tab.
You'll see the Admin tabs along the top: Products, Operators, Services, Lists, Messaging, Rostering, Redeemables, and Membership.
The Lists tab is where you manage all the configuration options that power your salon - from payment methods to tax rates to public holidays.
Available Lists
Use the Select List: dropdown to choose which list you'd like to view or edit. The available lists are:
- Client Categories - Group your clients for reporting and targeted messaging.
- Discount Types - Set up the discounts your team can apply at the point of sale.
- Forms - Manage consultation forms and consent documents.
- Operator Levels - Define experience levels for your team (e.g. Junior, Senior, Director).
- Payment Methods - Configure which payment types are available at checkout.
- Public Holidays & Alternate Trading Hours - Set holiday dates and any adjusted opening hours.
- Resources - Manage shared resources like rooms, basins, or equipment.
- Messaging Templates - Create reusable templates for SMS and email messages.
- Suppliers - Keep track of your product suppliers.
- Tax Rates - Configure tax rates applied to services and products.
Working with a List
Once you select a list, you'll see a table showing the entries. Each list displays a Name column along with any relevant extra columns. For example, the Discount Types list shows both Name and Discount Amount.
Editing an Entry
Click the Edit link on any row to modify that entry's details.
Viewing Items
Some lists have an Items link on each row, which lets you drill into the sub-items within that entry.
Adding a New Entry
Click the New button in the top right corner to create a new entry in the currently selected list.
Pagination
If a list has many entries, use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to navigate between pages.
Tips
- Keep your Client Categories tidy - they're useful for filtering reports and sending targeted promotions.
- Set up your Public Holidays at the start of each year so your online bookings stay accurate.
- Review your Payment Methods list periodically to make sure it matches the options you actually accept.
