Setting up your suppliers
First, create your suppliers and assign them to your products. Creating Suppliers and Assigning them to Products shows you how, so Simple Salon knows where to send your orders.
Setting up product quantities
Next, set up your product quantities.
- Go to Admin, then the Products tab.
- Hit Edit on a product.
- On the right, set the Min Qty, Max Qty and Quantity fields.
- Min Qty: the point where you need to re-order. Once your stock drops to or below this, the product is due for a re-order.
- Max Qty: how many you want on the shelf after you re-order.
- Quantity: how many you have right now.
Hit Save once you've updated these. Do this for every product, and you're ready to use Ordering.
