Need a steady weekly pattern, or a roster that flexes week to week? The Roster page handles both.
Simple Rostering keeps the same hours every week for each operator. It's the default when your account is first created, and it's the easiest option if your team works a steady pattern.
Advanced Rostering lets each week look different, adds leave types like Annual Leave and Sick Day, and ties hours to hourly rates so the Wages Report can run automatically. To turn it on, click your profile at the bottom left of the main menu, choose Settings, and switch on Enable Advanced Rostering in the Roster section.
Whichever mode you're in, start with Opening Hours at the bottom of the Roster page. Your team can only be rostered on within those hours, and each day column on the grid follows them.
To get set up:
- Set your Opening Hours on the Roster page.
- Decide if Simple or Advanced Rostering suits your team, and turn Advanced on in Settings if you need it.
- Roster your team on using the guides below.
Once Advanced Rostering is on, here's where to go for each task:
- Setting up your Roster with Advanced Rostering, creating Roster Types and rostering your team on.
- Setting up Staff Hourly Roster Rates with Advanced Rostering, pay rates and the Wages Report.
- How to Schedule Lunch Breaks with Advanced Rostering.
- Scheduling Two Roster Types On The Same Day with Advanced Rostering, for split shifts and leave plus work on the same day.
- How to Roster Yourself On and Off with Advanced Rostering.
Repeat Selected saves you rebuilding the same week from scratch: tick the operators or shifts you want to repeat, then choose a cadence and how many weeks to copy forward.
