You can stack two or more Roster Types on the same day for one operator. A common example is annual leave in the morning and a working shift in the afternoon. Another is a working block either side of a lunch break, so it's counted in the Wages Report.
Haven't set up your Roster Types yet? Start with Setting up your Roster with Advanced Rostering.
- Go to Roster.
- Click the + next to the operator's name.
- In the Roster Item Details panel, pick a Roster Type, for example Annual Leave.
- Tick the day(s), set the start and finish Time, and click Save. The item appears in the operator's row.
- Click + again for the same operator.
- This time pick Rostered On (or whatever type fits), tick the day(s), and set the time.
- Click Save.
You'll now see two Roster Types for that operator on the same day. You can repeat this to add as many as you need.
Note: keep the times from overlapping. If Rostered On runs 9am to 3pm, start the next item at 3pm or later.
Here's what stacked roster items look like on the grid. One operator has a working block, a break, and another working block.
Outside their Rostered On hours, the operator's Appointments column blocks off that time so no bookings can be made against it.
