Keeping your information accurate is essential for a seamless experience within Simple Salon. Whether you've recently experienced a change in ownership, or you just want to ensure your account's email and mobile details are up to date, this article will walk you through the process. We'll be going through the following:
- Changing Company Details
- Updating User Logins
- Setting Your Reply-To Email Address
- Updating the End-Of-Day Email Address
- Updating SMS Response Notification Email Address
- Updating Online Booking Approval Notification Mobile & Email
- Updating Billing Details
Changing Company Details
Follow the steps below if you need to change company information such as Contact Name, Company Name, Company Address, Email, Contact Number etc.
1. Go to your Account page by clicking the blue circle icon on the top right corner.
2. In the Account Details section, update your information as required.
3. Click Save. These changes will be updated on our end automatically.
Updating User Logins
Follow the steps below to update your user logins (i.e. anyone who has a Username & Password to access your account).
1. Go to your Account page by clicking the blue circle icon on the top right corner.
2. In the Manage Users section, click Edit next to any user that will be changed. For example, you can update the administrator password details if a new owner takes over.
If you need to delete a user login, you'll also click Edit, and then select the Delete button.
3. Make sure you Save after making any changes.
Setting Your Reply-To Email Address
When you send emails to clients in your Simple Salon account (e.g. email marketing or email reminders), you can choose where client replies go to. To update this email address:
1. Go to Admin.
2. Select the SMS & Email tab.
3. Beneath the 1 Touch Marketing section, you'll see the From Email Address field.
4. Enter in the new email address that you want clients responding to.
5. Click Save once complete.
Updating the End-Of-Day Email Address
If you have the Advanced End of Day process enabled, you can change the email address that the End-Of-Day email sends to. To update this:
1. Go to Settings (by clicking the blue circle icon on the top right corner).
2. Go to the Cash Register (POS) Settings tab.
3. Scroll down to the End-Of-Day Email field and update as needed.
4. Click Save once complete.
Tip: If you would like the End-Of-Day Email to send to multiple email addresses, you can do so by adding a semicolon (;) in between each email address. For example:
support@simplesalon.com;simplesalon@test.com;test@support.com
Updating SMS Response Notification Email Address
When you send an SMS, any client responses will be sent to the email address assocated with your account. If you want to change this to a different email address, you can do so by following the steps below:
1. Go to Settings (by clicking the blue circle icon on the top right corner).
2. Go to the Marketing Settings tab.
3. In the SMS Notification Email Address field, enter the email address as needed.
4. Click Save once complete.
Tip: If you would like SMS Response Notifications to send to multiple email addresses, you can do so by adding a semicolon (;) in between each email address. For example:
support@simplesalon.com;simplesalon@test.com;test@support.com
Updating Online Booking Email & SMS Approval Notification Contact Details
If you have your Online Booking site enabled, you can update the email address and mobile number that is setup to receive approval notifications. To update this:
1. Go to the Online section.
2. Select the Admin tab.
3. Go to the Notification Settings section. Under APPROVAL ALERT SETTINGS, update the Email & SMS field as needed (or deselect the setting to turn either alert off).
4. Click Save once complete.
Updating Billing Details
To update your subscription billing details:
1. Go to the Account page (by clicking the blue circle icon on the top right corner).
2. Select the Actions menu.
3. Select New Billing Details where you'll be taken to Stripe to review the Current Plan, Payment Method and Invoice History.
4. Under the Payment Method section, simply click the + Add payment method button and fill in the new payment information.
5. After clicking Add and successfully adding new billing details—you can click the X button next to any other payment methods you want to delete permanently.
