Open Simple Salon and land straight on the diary you actually care about, not the whole salon. The Preferred Operator setting tells Simple Salon which operator's diary to show you when you open the Appointments page.
- Click the profile icon at the bottom left of the main menu, then choose Settings. The panel slides in from the right, with everything grouped into collapsible sections.
- Click the Device Settings section to expand it. Preferred Operator is the first row, a dropdown listing every bookable operator in your salon.
- Click the dropdown and choose the operator whose diary you want to see each time you open Appointments.
- Click Save at the top of the Settings panel. Next time you open Appointments, it lands straight on your chosen operator.
Want to see everyone again? Scroll to the bottom of the list and pick None. Your Appointments page goes back to showing every operator column.
A few extras worth knowing
- New operators show up automatically. Add a team member under Admin > Operators, and they'll appear in this dropdown once they're set up. See Setting up Operator Columns.
- Owners who don't take bookings: leave this as None so you still see the whole team's diary by default.
