The Membership Activity Report shows a log of all membership-related actions performed in Simple Salon over a selected date range. Use it to audit membership changes, track who made modifications, and review activity by type.
How to Access
Navigate to Reporting > Report List > Membership Activity Report.
Filters
The report has a dual filter system:
Date Range:
- From and To - Select the date range
- Go - Run the report for the selected dates
Additional Filters:
- User - Filter by the staff member who performed the action
- Type - Filter by activity type: All, Suspension, Re-Activate, Cancellation, Edit Comments, Change Expiry, Edit Payment Type, Delete, Create at POS, Create at Client Details, Update Settings, Check In Allowance Override, Claim Inclusion, or Status
- Filter - Apply the additional filters
Report Columns
- Date - The date of the activity
- Time - The time of the activity
- Type - The activity type (e.g. Cancellation, Suspension, Create at POS)
- Member - The client name
- Membership - The membership name
- User - The staff member who performed the action
- Description - Additional details about the change
Available Actions
- Send SMS - Send an SMS to the listed members
- Send Email - Send an email to the listed members
- Export as CSV - Download the report data as a spreadsheet
- Print - Print the report
- Add to List / Remove from List - Add or remove members from a marketing list
Example
A client disputes that their membership was cancelled. Set the date range to the period in question, select Cancellation from the Type dropdown, and click Filter. The report shows the exact date, time, and user who processed the cancellation, along with any description notes. This gives you a clear audit trail.
