The Liability Report shows a snapshot of all outstanding financial liabilities in your business. This includes unredeemed gift vouchers, outstanding account balances, unpaid invoices, held deposits, and package balances. Use it for financial reporting and to understand your total liability exposure.
How to Access
Navigate to Reporting > Report List > Liability Report.
Filters
This report has no filters. It shows a current snapshot of all liabilities.
Liability Categories
The report header reads "Select the area you'd like to view:" and displays the following categories:
- Accounts Liability - Outstanding client account balances
- Gift Vouchers Liability - Unredeemed gift voucher balances
- Invoices Liability - Unpaid invoice amounts
- Deposits Liability - Client deposits held
- Packages Liability - Outstanding package item values
Report Columns
- Name - The liability category
- Amount - The total dollar amount outstanding
- Show Details - Click to expand and see individual records within that category
Available Actions
- Export as CSV - Download the report data as a spreadsheet
- Print - Print the report
Example
Your accountant needs the total outstanding liabilities for the end of financial year. Open the Liability Report to see a breakdown by category. Click Show Details on Gift Vouchers Liability to see each individual unredeemed voucher and its remaining balance. Export the full report to CSV for your financial records.
