The Product Purchase Report shows all retail product sales over a selected date range. Use it to track product revenue, profit margins, and identify your best-selling products.
How to Access
Navigate to Reporting > Report List > Product Purchase Report.
Filters
The report has two rows of filters:
Row 1 (Date Range and Brand):
- From and To - Select the date range for the report
- Brand - Filter by product brand, or select All to show all brands
- Go - Run the report
Row 2 (Additional Filters):
- Internal Use Only checkbox - Show only products used internally (not sold to clients)
- Retail Only checkbox - Show only products sold to clients
- Group By Client checkbox (on by default) - Group results by client
- Operators - Filter by the operator who made the sale
- Filter - Apply the additional filters
Report Columns
- Brand - The product brand
- Name - The product name
- Qty - The quantity sold
- Total Revenue - The total retail revenue
- Total Profit - The profit (revenue minus wholesale cost)
- Show Details - Click to expand and see individual sale details
A Total row at the bottom summarises the overall quantity, revenue, and profit.
Available Actions
- Export as CSV - Download the report data as a spreadsheet
- Print - Print the report
Example
You want to review which products had the highest profit margin last quarter. Set the date range to the quarter, ensure Retail Only is ticked, and click Filter. Sort the results by Total Profit to see your most profitable products. Click Show Details to see which operators sold the most of each product.
