You can use Tyro for integrated credit card and EFTPOS transactions.
To connect your Tyro terminal to Simple Salon:
- Open the profile icon at the bottom left of the main menu, then choose Account.
- Click Actions at the top right of the Account page.
- Choose Tyro under Payment Gateway Add-Ons.
Note: if you don't have a Tyro account, click Sign Up to go to the Tyro website.
On the panel that opens:
- Enter the terminal's Merchant ID and Terminal ID.
- Click Pair Terminal. You'll be asked to run the "Authorise POS" function on your terminal.
- When that pop-up appears, go into your EFTPOS terminal's settings and press Pair.
- Once you've done that, click OK in the pop-up. Your terminal is now connected.
Under Terminal Settings, you can tick Integrated Receipts if your terminal doesn't have its own built-in printer.
The Print Report settings are for printing an end of day summary. Enter the details and click Print to print the terminal report.
Last step: tell POS to use Tyro. Click your profile icon at the bottom left of the main menu, choose Settings, search for POS Payment Gateway, set it to Tyro, and click Save. Tyro only appears in that list once it's connected.
