You can use ANZ Worldline for integrated credit card and EFTPOS transactions.
Getting Information from Your ANZ Worldline Terminal
To get started first we need some information from your ANZ Worldline Terminal before we can connect up your Terminal to Simple Salon. Specifically we need the Terminal ID and also the IP information. To get that the Terminal ID and IP information follow the following steps:
- Press the Menu button on your terminal,
- Enter your terminal password to login into the terminal.
- Then press 5 for Setup,
- Then press 5 again for Info.
- The Terminal ID is listed next to "Trm-ID: ".
Note: it is recommended that you note down the set of four numbers next to "IP:" for later
Connecting Your ANZ Worldline Terminal to Simple Salon
Now that we have noted that information down. It's time to connect your ANZ Worldline terminal to Simple Salon,
- Login to Simple Salon using administrator role account
- Go to the Account page (via the top right icon),
- Choose the Actions menu and
- Click ANZ Worldline.
On the right side panel,
- Enter the Terminal ID that you noted earlier
- Enter a Name for the terminal then
- Click Add Terminal.
Once the terminal has been successfully added,
- Tick the ANZ Worldline Gateway Enabled box,
- and press Save.
Connecting POS Settings to use ANZ Worldline
Next you have to setup Simple Salon's settings to use ANZ Worldline for POS Payments. To do this:
- Click the top right icon
- Click Settings option
- Select the Cash Register (POS)
- Then find the POS Payment Gateway setting
- Select Worldline (Credit Card & EFTPOS)
- Click Save
Using ANZ Worldline via an Internet Browser
The following step is ONLY required if you are using Simple Salon in an internet browser. To assist in connecting your internet browser securely to your ANZ Worldline terminal you will also need to install the Simple Salon Connect app.
NOTE: Please take note what folder you are downloading the file to
Are you running a Microsoft Windows computer/laptop if so, please click this link below:
- Download Simple Salon Connect for Windows
- Double click the file you just download to Unzip the contents of that file
- Open the newly created folder
- Locate and double click the SimpleSalonConnect.Desktop.exe file to run the app
- Click Ok/Allow/Trust to the message that pop-up asking if you trust this app
Are you running a Apple Mac computer/laptop if so, please click this link below:
- Download Simple Salon Connect for Mac
- Double click on the file you just downloaded
- Drag the Simple Salon Connect icon into your Applications folder
- Launch the Simple Salon Connect app from your Applications folder or Launchpad menu
- Click Ok/Allow/Trust to the message that pop-up asking if you trust this app
Once the app is launched/run you should get the Ready screen as you can see below.
Note: it can take a minute or 2 to initialise so please be patient.
You can close the Simple Salon Connect app now - it will automatically launch when you need it.
It is important to note, when you attempt to take payment via ANZ Worldline for the first time via the browser, you will see the following popup.
- Tick "Always allow",
- then click Open.
Using ANZ Worldline via an Simple Salon tablet/mobile apps
If you are using our Android or iOS app for POS: when you first attempt to take payment via ANZ Worldline:
- You will be prompted to enter the IP address of the terminal - you may already have this noted down from Getting Information step. If not
- You can get the IP Address by pressing the Menu button on your terminal,
- Enter your terminal password,
- Then press 5 for Setup,
- Press 5 again for Info.
- The IP address is listed next to "IP: ".
That's it. Now you're ready to process transactions via ANZ Worldline in POS!
