Connecting ANZ Worldline to Simple Salon

You can use ANZ Worldline for integrated credit card and EFTPOS transactions.

Getting information from your ANZ Worldline terminal

Before you can connect your terminal to Simple Salon, you'll need its Terminal ID and IP address. To get these:

1. Press the Menu button on your terminal.
2. Enter your terminal password to log in.
3. Press 5 for Setup.
4. Press 5 again for Info.
5. The Terminal ID is listed next to "Trm-ID: ". Note: it's a good idea to note down the four numbers next to "IP:" too, for later.

Connecting your ANZ Worldline terminal to Simple Salon

Now that you have that information, it's time to connect your terminal to Simple Salon.

1. Log in to Simple Salon with an administrator account.
2. Open the profile icon at the bottom left of the main menu, then choose Account.
3. Click Actions at the top right of the Account page.
4. Choose ANZ Worldline under Payment Gateway Add-Ons.

On the panel that opens:

1. Enter the Terminal ID you noted earlier.
2. Enter a Name for the terminal.
3. Click Add Terminal.

Once the terminal has been added, tick ANZ Worldline Gateway Enabled and click Save.

Connecting POS Settings to use ANZ Worldline

Next, tell Simple Salon to use ANZ Worldline for POS payments:

1. Open the profile icon at the bottom left of the main menu.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Search for POS Payment Gateway.
4. Select Worldline (Credit Card & EFTPOS).
5. Click Save.

Using ANZ Worldline in an internet browser

This next step is only needed if you use Simple Salon in an internet browser. To connect your browser securely to your ANZ Worldline terminal, you'll also need to install the Simple Salon Connect app.

Note: keep track of which folder you download the file to.

On a Windows computer:

1. Download Simple Salon Connect for Windows.
2. Double click the file to unzip it.
3. Open the new folder.
4. Double click SimpleSalonConnect.Desktop.exe to run it.
5. Click Ok/Allow/Trust on the pop-up asking if you trust the app.

On a Mac:

1. Download Simple Salon Connect for Mac.
2. Double click the downloaded file.
3. Drag the Simple Salon Connect icon into your Applications folder.
4. Launch Simple Salon Connect from Applications or Launchpad.
5. Click Ok/Allow/Trust on the pop-up asking if you trust the app.

Once it's running, you'll see a Ready screen. Note: it can take a minute or two to start up, so give it a moment.

You can close Simple Salon Connect after that. It will open by itself whenever you need it.

The first time you take a payment through ANZ Worldline in your browser, you'll see a pop-up. Tick Always allow, then click Open.

Using ANZ Worldline on the Simple Salon tablet or mobile apps.

If you're using our Android or iOS app for POS, the first time you take a payment through ANZ Worldline:

1. You'll be asked for the terminal's IP address. You may already have this from the steps above. If not:
2. Press the Menu button on your terminal.
3. Enter your terminal password.
4. Press 5 for Setup.
5. Press 5 again for Info.
6. The IP address is listed next to "IP: ".

That's it. Now you're ready to process transactions with ANZ Worldline in POS.
