Forgot to do End Of Day? Here's what to do

Forgot to run End Of Day last night, or missed a few days? No problem, here's what to do.

Note: if you've never run End Of Day before, read Advanced End of Day Process first.

1. What to do if you forgot to run End Of Day.

  1. You can only run End Of Day for the current day, so wait until the end of today to run your next session.
  2. Keep working as normal through the day.
  3. At the end of today, after your last transaction and before midnight, run End Of Day as usual from POS > Manage > Start End-Of-Day.

2. What happens to your figures.

Every figure will balance except your cash figure. That's expected.

Your cash total in the End Of Day screen will add up yesterday and today together, or however many days it's been since your last End Of Day. No other reports are affected.

Once you've completed today's End Of Day, your figures will be correct going forward.
