Overview
You can upload photos and documents for a client straight from their Client Card. It's handy for before/after photos, signed consultation forms, or anything else you want on file for that client.
Uploading an image
- Search for the client and open their Client Card.
- Tap the three-dot Actions menu, top right.
- Hit the + button, top right of the Images panel.
- Choose Upload to pick a file from your computer, or Take Photo to use a connected webcam.
Uploading a file
Files (PDFs, Word documents, and so on) work the same way, in their own panel.
- Tap the three-dot Actions menu, then click Files.
- Hit the + button and choose the file from your computer.
Images and Files are two separate items in the Actions menu, each with its own gallery. Keep photos in Images and documents in Files so they're easy to find later.
Viewing, editing or deleting a file
Tap the three-dot menu on any thumbnail to Edit, Download, or Delete it. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
Who can delete files
By default, only Administrators can delete files or images. Want a Manager or Staff User to have that access too? It's a setting for your admin to change. Go to Settings, then the Security tab, and look for Delete Access to Images/Files. Choose the access level you want and hit Save.
Uploading from an appointment
You can also add images and files straight from a client's appointment, on the Visit Details screen. See Uploading Files or Images to a Client's Appointment for the steps. Anything you upload there shows up here on the Client Card too.
Tips
- Use client photos for before/after comparisons of a treatment.
- Keep signed consultation forms on file as scanned documents.
- Images and files are private to your salon and only visible to your team.
