After you have navigated other pages within Simple Salon, you may notice the Send SMS or Send Email button, particularly when on a Report or while in Marketing.
These allow you to instantly reach out to your clients, with either a template (click here to learn how to edit or create your own SMS & Email Templates), on the fly or through one of our third-party integrations.
Let's say for example you needed to reach out to clients with appointments over a certain date range. You can go to the Appointments Report (Reporting > Report List):
You will notice the Send SMS & Send Email links.
If you click Send SMS, you will be prompted to craft your message, or use a template:
If you click Send Email, you can select from Standard, Campaign Monitor or Mail Chimp.
Selecting Standard will prompt you to craft your message within Simple Salon. You can select the Template dropdown menu to choose a precreated template:
Perhaps you need to reach out to everyone. You could go to the All Clients Report, located in Marketing:
The process is the same, no matter what page you are selecting Send SMS or Send Email from. You will just be targeting a different set of clients.
NOTE: Once you've hit Send Message on your SMS or Email, there's no going back.
So it's very important that you use functions provided to you, such as the character counter, and the Preview message function to enable you to complete a pre-campaign test.
You'll also want to make sure that you look at the Total Clients section, as that will show you how many clients will be sent the message.
This will ensure any mistakes will be seen and can be adjusted accordingly.
