Curious about when your SMS Appointment Reminders will start sending, and how to keep track of their delivery status? Not to worry, we've got you covered. Let's get into the details:
-
Scheduled Sending: Automatic SMS & Email Campaigns, including your Appointment Reminders, are sent at the same time each day. By default, this time is set to approximately 12:00pm for most accounts based in Australia. If you're uncertain about the timing for your SMS Campaigns, our support team is ready to assist you—simply click the Submit a Request button to connect with us.
-
Activation Timing: The time that you enable your Appointment Reminders determines when they'll be sent for the first time. If you enable them before the automatic SMS Campaigns for the day have been sent, they will be sent on the same day. However, if you activate them after the daily automatic SMS Campaigns have gone out, your Appointment Reminders will be sent the following day.
-
Non-Delivery Scenarios: The main scenarios in which SMS Reminders won't be sent are:
- Insufficient Plan SMS Messages or SMS Credit. You can verify your current balance in the Admin > SMS & Email section.
- No appointments are scheduled for the day when the Appointment Reminders are set to be sent.
Where can I go to check if my SMS Reminders have been sent?
You can verify if your SMS Reminders have been queued to send via the Campaign Report (located in the Marketing tab). If you've never used the Campaign Report before, check out the following article to learn how it works:
How do I know if my SMS or email has sent?
If your reminders haven't queued yet, or they weren't sent to any clients, it will usually be due to one of the reasons above.
However if you would like our support team to double check that you've set everything up correctly, simply Submit a Request and we'll be here to help!
