Simple Salon works for salons in any country. You can set your currency and tax to suit where you are.
You can also leave tax out of your prices, so it's only added to the client's sale in POS.
Include or exclude tax in your prices
- Click your profile icon at the bottom left of the main menu, then click Settings.
- Scroll to Location.
- Switch Prices Include Tax on or off.
- Click Save at the top right.
If you're in Australia, or anywhere prices already include tax, switch Prices Include Tax on.
If you're in the USA, or anywhere prices don't include tax, switch it off. The tax is then added to the client's bill in POS.
With the setting off, POS shows the Sub-Total before tax, then the Tax, then the Total. The Total is the Sub-Total and Tax added together.
