How to Use Global Staff & Salon Manager Lock Out

Simple Salon is flexible. You can sign in from anywhere, on any computer or device.

If you'd rather your Salon Managers and Staff users could only use Simple Salon inside the salon, you can lock them out everywhere else.

Lock out Managers and Staff

1. On your salon computer, click your profile icon at the bottom left of the main menu, then click Settings.
2. Scroll to the Security section.
3. To lock out both, switch on Global Manager Lock Out and Global Staff Lock Out. To restrict only staff, switch on just Global Staff Lock Out.
4. Click Save at the top right.

Once locked, every computer and device in every location is locked. The red Locked buttons will appear.

If a staff member tries to use Simple Salon while it's locked, they'll see a message telling them they're locked out.

Let the right computers in

Now set each computer or device that your Salon Managers and Staff users need to Unlocked.

1. Sign in to Simple Salon on that computer or device.
2. Click the red Locked button so it changes to the green Unlocked button.
3. Click Save.

Note: you need to do this on every computer and device you want to set to Unlocked.
