When you connect your Simple Salon account with your Stripe account, you can take payments via your Online Booking site! Your Stripe account allows you to start taking payments straight away, and you don't need a Merchant Account from the bank.
The following article will show you how to connect your Stripe account to Simple Salon, so you can take payments for Online Bookings, e.g. taking full payment, taking deposits or selling gift vouchers.
To get started, you'll need to go to Account:
Then click the Actions menu, and select Stripe:
Click Sign Up under Stripe Gateway settings. You'll be taken over to Stripe:
Simply enter in your email address and click Continue.
If you already have a Stripe account, then Stripe will recognise this and get you to login:
Once you've logged in using your Stripe login details, you'll need to select the Stripe account you'd like to connect to Simple Salon (alternatively you can create a new Stripe account):
After clicking Connect you will be redirected back to Simple Salon:
You'll now be connected, and redirected back to your Simple Salon account. As you can see, you're now connected to Stripe:
Now you'll need to go to the Online tab, then Admin, like so:
If you want to take Deposits for Online Bookings, simply select Require Deposit.

If instead you want to take full payment, then you'd instead select Pay Full Amount.
You'll notice that your Stripe account will automatically appear in the Select Payment Method section, and all you have to do is click Save!
Voila! You can now click the Login button if you would like to access your Stripe Dashboard:
