Allow Clients to Review Your Salon After Their First Visit


Together with Simple Salon's 'First Visit Message' and a program such as Google forms, you can easily create a place for your clients to review your salon to make you even better.

The process can be completed in two main steps. The first is to create a form in a program such as Google Forms, and the second is to implement a URL directly to that form, into a template, which you can then choose in Simple Salon.

Create a Form

To create a form, you can use any program you find appropriate, however, you'll need to be able to obtain a direct link which you can send to your clients.

If you're not sure who to create a form through, the following link will take you directly to Google Forms:

1. Once you've loaded into Google Forms, click on the Go to Google Forms button as shown below:


2. You'll then be able to choose from your existing forms or create a new form, based on Google Form templates:


You'll need to get creative here, with questions you'd like your clients to answer.

When you've finished creating the form, click on the Send button to the top right of your form.

Google Form's Send form pop up will appear and you'll just need to click on the link icon which will display the following information:


If you'd like, you're more than welcome to click the Shorten URL tick box which will ensure less space is consumed by the link in your SMS messages and Emails.

Click COPY which will copy the link––please ensure that you keep this form open until you have completed the article.

Create a New SMS & Email Template

Now you'll either need to edit the default templates "Default SMS First Time" and "Default Email First Time" or create new ones. These templates are located in Admin > Lists > SMS & Email Templates.

We've included an example template below which you could implement:

Hi #ClientFirstName#, thanks for visiting #CompanyName#. We hope you had a great experience! Don't forget to rate us on your experience over at <copy and paste your URL over this section of the text>.

Once you've created the template, head on over to Admin > SMS & Email click Edit in the First Visit Message row and update your templates to the new templates you've just created.


Remember to click Save.
