Step 1. Customise template:
1. Go to Admin then into the Lists tab
2. From the Select List dropdown menu, choose Messaging Templates
3. Click Copy next to Default Email Confirmation OR Default SMS Confirmation
4. Give your new template a name in the Template Name: field
5. You can now customise the text as needed in the Message section
6. Click Save once you're happy
Step 2. Set up template to send to clients
1. Go to the Online tab (at the top of the page)
2. Click Admin and scroll down to Notification Settings
3. Under BOOKING CONFIRMATION SETTINGS, click the dropdown menu under Email or SMS and locate the template you created earlier.
4. Click Save once complete

The SMS/Email Confirmation isn't sent automatically if an appointment is created on the Appointments page (it only sends automatically for bookings made online). To learn how to send a confirmation when you create an appointment from your end, click here.

Even though the templates are setup in the Online section, these templates will send when an Online Booking is confirmed and anytime an SMS/Email Confirmation is sent via the Appointments page.
- Your 1st and 2nd Appointment Reminders (which are different from the SMS/Email Confirmation) do send automatically before a client's appointment. If you'd like to edit the template for your reminders, click here.
