Setting up Operator Columns

Let's give each of your operators an appointment column.

Add an operator

1. Go to Admin.
2. Select the Operators tab.
3. Click New to create your first operator.
4. Fill out the operator's details. At a minimum, set their Display Name and contact details. You can also add a photo, which shows up in the Simple Salon iOS and Android apps.
5. Click Save.

Your operator now has a column on the Appointments page. Do this for each operator, and your diary will start to take shape.

Note: if an operator's column doesn't show up, check two things. First, they must be ticked to Show Operator on Appointments Page on their operator record. Second, they may need a roster entry for that day, since some salons only show rostered-on operators.

Make the columns bigger or smaller

Click your profile icon at the bottom of the left-hand menu, then Settings. Under Device Settings, use Column Zoom to pick Auto-fit, Compact, Normal or Spacious. Auto-fit squeezes every operator onto the screen without scrolling. Hit Save once you're happy.
