Setting up your Xero connection in Simple Salon Dome
Once you have a Xero account and a Simple Salon Dome account, you need to connect them. In your Account page at the Dome, in the Actions menu, click Xero.
As you can see on the right side panel, you are not yet connected. Click Connect to Xero to get started.
Using your Xero login details (Email Address & Password), log in to your Xero account.
You'll be asked to Allow Access to Simple Salon:
Click the Select an organisation dropdown, and select one of the Xero accounts you would like to link. Click Allow Access to return to Simple Salon, where you'll be connected:
If you only have one Xero account to share between all of your locations, skip down to the next step "Connecting to your Dome Xero account from a Simple Salon location".
Allowing access to additional Xero accounts in Simple Salon Dome
For each additional account you would like to link, in your Account page at the Dome, in the Actions menu, click Xero.
You'll be connected to your first Xero account:
(If you're not already connected, scroll back up to "Setting up your Xero connection in Simple Salon Dome".)
Click the Change Organisation link, you'll be shown a dropdown of the Xero accounts that are currently authorised:
Select "Add new..." from the bottom of the list, then click Save. Log in to your Xero account again if prompted - you must login to the same Xero user as you used when originally linking, otherwise the original connection will be removed.
You'll be asked to select the additional account:
Click the Select an organisation dropdown, and select the additional Xero account you would like to link. Click Allow Access to return to Simple Salon, where you'll be connected to the new account. You can double check both accounts are linked by clicking Change Organisation again to see the dropdown list of options:
Repeat these steps to link more accounts if required. Remember you must use the same Xero user login everytime you link a new account.
Connecting to your Dome Xero account from a Simple Salon location
Browse down to (or login to) the location where you would like to access your Xero Dome connection. In your Account page at the location, in the Actions menu, click Xero.
As you can see on the right side panel, you are not yet connected. Click Use Dome Connection to get started.
By default, you will be connected to the Xero account selected at Dome:
If you only have one Xero account linked at Dome, you can leave this as is.
If you have more than one Xero account linked at Dome, click the Change Organisation link to select the Xero account you would like to use with this location:
We recommend doing this even if the Dome default is currently the correct account - if the Dome default Xero account is changed later, this location's Xero account will change as well.
Click Save to save your selection:
Continue on with the instructions to setup the End-of-Day Settings section on the Xero page.
