How to get Online Bookings via your Facebook Page




After following the simple steps in the quick video above or the easy steps below, you will have people conveniently booking online appointments via your business Facebook Page.

To get this set up, it’s just a matter of grabbing your business’s unique Online Booking URL (from your Simple Salon account) and popping it on the Contact Us button on your Facebook Page. That’s it. Super simple. So, let’s do it.

Locating your unique Online Booking URL

Log into your Simple Salon account and go to Online on the top orange menu bar. Go to the Admin tab and expand the General Settings section.


Under the BOOKING SITE URL & CODE section, your unique Online Booking URL is displayed. To copy this link, click the Copy URL button. The URL will be copied to your clipboard.


Adding Online Booking URL to Facebook Contact Us button

Once you've copied your unique Online Booking URL to your clipboard, go to your Facebook business page. Under your cover photo on the right, click the blue button. If you haven't set it up yet, it will say + Add a Button.


If you've already set it up, then it might say something like Edit Call Now, Edit Contact Us, or Edit Send Message etc. Either way, click the button to edit it. We're going to change it to a Contact Us button. Choose the Contact Us option.


Paste in your Online Booking URL and click Save.

Now you will have a Contact Us button on your business Facebook page which clients can click to book their appointments online. Anytime a client clicks/taps Contact Us on your Facebook page it will take them directly to your business online booking site, which will look like the example featured below:


Your client will then go ahead and make their online booking. You will be sent an online booking alert. Once you receive the alert, you'll have two hours to confirm the online booking. If you have the Auto Approval feature enabled then the online booking will be automatically added to your appointment columns without you having to manually approve it.
